According to the latest updates on the 71-year-old’s health, he is out of isolation and said to be in “good health,” CNN reports. A royal source explained that the “Clarence House has confirmed today that, having consulted with his doctor, the Prince of Wales is now out of self-isolation.”
Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, will now be able to resume meetings and take exercise in accordance with government and medical guidelines. However, his wife Camilla, who tested negative for COVID-19, will remain in self-isolation until the end of the week in case she too develops symptoms.
As it’s been reported, several senior British officials have tested positive for the virus in recent days, including the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the Health Secretary Matt Hancock. They are also said to be in “good health.” So far, the country has recorded 1,228 deaths from the virus and experts warns people that the death toll is expected to climb the coming days.
