Pretty Ricky’s Baby Blue Sues Florida bowling Alley After Being Shot
As we previously reported, Pretty Ricky rap star Baby Blue was critically injured after he was shot during a robbery outside a South Florida bowling alley earlier this year. Police said the rapper and another victim were next to their cars when they were approached by two armed men back in April. It was said at the time that the suspects tried to steal a gold chain necklace and there was a fight that led to a gun going off, hitting the rapper in the shoulder.

A graphic video posted online even showed the bloodied rapper shortly after the shooting lying on the ground as friends yelled for help. Blue was taken to the hospital where he was placed in the ICU. Thankfully, he managed to recover and told his fans that he had to “learn to breathe and walk again” after the incident.
Months later, Blue has decided to file a lawsuit against the bowling alley, SpareZ. He’s seeking unspecified damages, claiming in a civil suit that the business did not provide adequate security that could have thwarted the shooting. The suit states that Blue, real name Diamond Smith, suffered “permanent and personal injury including significant scarring and loss of his ability to walk,” Sun-Sentinel reports.
Now on top of dealing with this, Baby Blue has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for his $24M PPP loan scandal.
