The morning after the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, President Trump wrote on Twitter urging the GOP-lead Senate to fill the vacant seat without delay.

The tweet comes after Democrats and the public are urging the Senate to hold off on the voting until after the presidential election but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has stated otherwise.

However, CNN initially reported that Trump has been itching to pick a nominee to fill Ginsburg’s seat before her death. A source close to the President claims he has his eye on federal appeals court Judge Amy Coney Barrett since August.
