President Trump announced during a White House briefing earlier today that the United States will be terminating all payments to the World Health Organization.
According to the New York Post, President Trump said during Tuesday’s briefing that he is suspending all payments to the World Health Organization because they failed to provide accurate information from China during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am instructing my administration to halt funding of the World Health Organization while a review is conducted to assess the World Health Organization possible in severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus,”

Additionally, Trump criticized the WHO for opposing travel bans and stated his travel ban from China “saved thousands of Americans.”
