Following the tragic shooting at a Nashville Christian school, President Joe Biden has taken to his post to address the nation, admitting, “We have to do more to stop gun violence.”

President Joe Biden Addresses Nashville Christian School Shooting: ‘We Have To Do More To Stop Gun Violence’
As we previously reported, earlier today (March 27), around 10 a.m., there was a deadly shooting at a grade school in Nashville, which left 3 children and 3 adults dead.
The school was identified as The Covenant School, a private Christian school. Following the news, President Biden spoke out and urged Congress to take further action on gun safety legislation.

He called the tragic incident, “sick” and “heartbreaking.” He added, “We’re monitoring the situation very closely. And we have to do more to stop gun violence. It’s ripping our communities apart. Ripping at the very soul of this nation, and we have to do more to protect our schools and they aren’t turned into prisons.”
While revealing how the Nashville school shooter was armed with two assault weapons, AK-47s, and a pistol, President Biden stated, “I call on Congress again to pass my assault weapons ban. It’s about time that we begin to make some more progress.”

Since, the Nashville school shooter was initially identified as a 28-year-old female, and later reported identified as a transgender woman named Audrey Hale.
It is also reported that Hale, who reportedly went by he/him pronouns, was a former student of The Convenant School, and has since died after being shot by police.
