President-elect Donald Trump is already enjoying his win quite a bit as he not only begins ushering in governmental changes but continues to troll Vice President Kamala Harris and her campaign, now offering to bail out Democrats from their alleged $20 million debt for the sake of “unity.”
As we previously reported, on Wednesday (November 6), former President Donald Trump was officially elected as the 47th president of the United States over Vice President Kamala Harris.
Throughout his campaign, Donald Trump has repeatedly said that he wants to unite the country when he becomes president again, and on Saturday (November 9), the Republican politician came up with a whole new idea to do so: pay off the Democrats’ debts.

According to Politico’s California bureau chief Christopher Cadelago, the Harris-Walz campaign is reportedly $20 million in debt. While taking to his account on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (November 6), Cadelago tweeted, “Kamala Harris’s campaign ended with at least $20 million in debt, per two sources familiar. Harris raised over $1 billion and had $118 million in the bank as of October. 16.”
The claim was also repeated on X by Breitbart’s Washington bureau chief Matthew Boyle, who cited an anonymous “Kamala campaign staffer.” Then, it was seemingly confirmed by Democratic National Committee (DNC) official Lindy Li, who called Vice President Harris’ bid for the White House a “$1 billion disaster” following her loss to President-elect Trump in the 2024 presidential election.
During a Saturday morning appearance on ‘Fox & Friends Weekend,’ Li said, “The truth is this is just an end epic disaster, this is a $1 billion disaster… They’re $20 million or $18 million in debt. It’s incredible, and I raised millions of that. I have friends I have to be accountable to and explain what happened because I told them it was a margin-of-error race.”
Li also said that VP Harris’ campaign chair, Jen O’Malley Dillon, “promised all of us that Harris would win.” Li continued, “She even put videos out saying Harris would win. I believed her, my donors believed her, and so they wrote massive checks. I just feel like a lot of us were misled.”
Following the claims of Kamala Harris and her campaign with running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, being in $20 million worth of debt, Donald Trump trolled them and said he would bail them out for the sake of “unity.”
Taking to Truth Social, Trump said, “I am very surprised that the Democrats, who fought a hard and valiant fight in the 2020 Presidential Election, raising a record amount of money, didn’t have lots of $’s left over. Now they are being squeezed by vendors and others. Whatever we can do to help them during this difficult period, I would strongly recommend we, as a Party and for the sake of desperately needed UNITY, do. We have a lot of money left over in that our biggest asset in the campaign was ‘Earned Media,’ and that doesn’t cost very much. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
