Despite his opposition to wearing face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. President Trump was captured on camera wearing a mask for the first time during his visit to Walter Reed hospital in Michigan. As reported by the Daily Mail, Trump said during an interview with Fox News that he would wear a mask out of “respect” for the patients.

‘Badly injured. And also see some of our [COVID] workers, people who have such a great job. And I expect to be wearing a mask when I go into Walter Reed. You’re in a hospital so I think it’s a very appropriate thing.’
