Prayers: Raven-Symone Reveals Her Brother Blaize Pearman Passes Away At 31 After Two-Year Battle With Colon Cancer

Raven-Symone, the beloved actress and singer, shared heartbreaking news with her fans on Monday morning. In an emotional Instagram video where she expressed gratitude to her fans for their birthday wishes, she revealed that her special day was bitter sweet as her brother, Blaize Pearman passed away. She revealed that he died at the age of 31 after a courageous two-year battle with colon cancer.

With a heavy heart, Raven-Symone addressed her 2.4 million followers, saying, “Last month, I lost my brother. He is in a better place now. He’s loved and missed.” The pain in her voice was evident as she shared the news of her brother’s passing, but she also expressed a sense of peace, knowing that Blaize was no longer suffering.

“It was a little bittersweet for me to be honest because last month I lost my brother, Blaize,” the Raven’s Home star began. “He was battling colon cancer for about two years and he is in a better place now. He’s loved and missed and the emotions that have been weaving in and out of my body and mind and my family, have been a roller coaster.”

Throughout his battle with colon cancer, Blaize showed immense strength and resilience. He faced numerous medical procedures and chemotherapy sessions, all while maintaining a positive spirit. His determination and bravery were an inspiration to Raven-Symone and all those who knew him.

Raven-Symoné concluded her video with a sweet farewell to her beloved sibling: “I love you, Blaize,” adding his birthday will continue to be celebrated by their family. “His birthday is Dec. 16 and forever will be. I love you, guys. My family on Instagram, my family at home and my family and friends. You guys have been such an amazing support system and I love you all.”
