Pornhub & Parent Company Sued By 34 Women For Allegedly Profiting Off Trafficked Videos

Pornhub and its parent company MindGeek is being sued by 34 women for allegedly selling and profiting off trafficked videos of them, captured and disseminated online without their knowledge.

In the lawsuit it says that the plaintiffs “were ignored, shamed, and sometimes mocked when they asked MindGeek to remove videos of their abuse from its porn platform.”

The suit alleges that the company is profiting off videos of non consensual conduct on camera.

“This is a case about rape, not pornography. It is a case about the rape and sexual exploitation of children. It is a case about the rape and sexual exploitation of men and women,” said the lawsuit filed by Brown Rudnick LLP.

One plaintiff detailed her horrific ordeal of being trafficked from when she was seven until she went to college, and was even trafficked by the notorious Jeffrey Epstein. She says at least seven videos of her were put on Pornhub.

However, Pornhub vehemently denied the claims and said,

”Pornhub has zero tolerance for illegal content and investigates any complaint or allegation made about content on our platforms.”
