Popular streamer iShowSpeed shocked fans after hopping online with a swollen eye, nasally nose and complaining of having cluster headaches. The streamer was rushed to the hospital and doctors eventually treated him for a severe sinus infection and released him.

On Saturday (July 29), iShowSpeed, born Darren Watkins Jr., left fans worried after he uploaded a series of videos to his various social media accounts, revealing that he’s been dealing with cluster headaches, so severe that it felt like someone was “gouging” his eyes out.
The pain was so insufferable that iShowSpeed said many times that he felt like he was “going to die.” He updated fans that he couldn’t “sleep, eat, or do anything, because everything just hurts.” In one video he told his fans, “I just want y’all to know that I love y’all. If anything happens, bro. I just love y’all.”

In another video, iShowSpeed shows his left eye super swollen, and in another video we see him in the back of an ambulance, again speaking on the headaches and his eye. As he’s accompanied by his assistant, the streamer told fans, “My eye is puffing up. It feels like somebody is stabbing my eye with a knife and I have a headache. But, I wanted to give y’all an update, because I don’t know what’s going to happen to me. I want y’all to always be right there with me until I die. I just wanted to let y’all know. I don’t know man. When I get back home, I’m probably going to chill with the travel for a bit. Because a lot is going on. Bye.”
Keeping fans updated as doctors continued to do testing and probing on iShowSpeed, his assistant took to Twitter to give everyone a play-by-play. Eventually, iShowSpeed’s assistant shared that doctors had narrowed his condition down to a “severe sinus infection,” adding, he was “very lucky” that his body fought against the extra bacteria created by the infection attacking his eye.

Reportedly, if the bacteria made its way from the front of his eye to the back, things would have been even more severe, causing permanent vision loss. After being treated for the infection, iShowSpeed was discharged.
Amid the updates from the streamer’s assistant, his father also spoke out in a video. He too thanked the fans for their support, prayers and best wishes. He also asked that they continue to send his son motivation and encourage him to rest up.
