Pop Smoke’s Friend Claims The Rapper Doesn’t Have Anymore Unreleased Music Left
Fans could be disappointed because it seems there might not be another Pop Smoke album.
During a recent interview with Kalisha Perara from RapTv, Pop Smoke’s close friend Mike “Mike Dee” Durodola stated the Brooklyn rapper vault has little to no music left, due to his lengthy posthumous album Faith.
“[In] my opinion, instead of dropping all 30 songs, I would have waited … until now, until next year, you know,” he said. “That way his name will stay alive, instead of just dropping it all at one time, you know.”
In the interview, Kalisha Perera asked if he thinks he has any more music left and Dee responded with, “I’m guessing this is what he had left in the vault.”
It was a sad sight to see this amazing artist pass away so soon. Once his first album was released fans were overly excited to hear the quality of music the rapper was working on.
His debut album Shoot for the stars, Aim for the Moon was released 6 months after his death in July 2020. Followed by his deluxe album weeks later which took the world by storm!
