Police Say Bodies Of Four Women Found In Virginia Link To ‘Shopping Cart Killer’

The bodies of four women found in Virginia are all speculated to be linked to suspected serial killer Anthony Robinson, labeled as the “Shopping Cart Killer” by authorities.

During a press conference on Friday, December 17, Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis stated Robinson, who was arrested and charged with killing two people last month, may play a part in the deaths of at least two more women.

Police claim the 35-year-old contacted his victims on dating apps and reportedly persuaded them to meet at motels. They alleged he would then kill them and use shopping carts to transfer their bodies to empty parking lots in an attempt to cover his tracks.

“After he inflicts trauma to his victims and kills them, he transports their bodies to their final resting place, literally, in a shopping cart. And there’s video to that effect,” Davis said.

“We need to act right now with our law enforcement partners to figure out who else our killer has had contact with, and what’s his MO — dating sites, motels, blunt force trauma, shopping cart, final resting place,” Davis said.

“He’s killed four already and we suspect that he has more victims. He’s a predator.”

“He preys on the weak, he preys on the vulnerable and he does unspeakable things with his victims,” Davis expressed to reporters.

“We know he’s obviously traveled all the way down to Harrisonburg,” Davis said. “But where else has he been? Where else has he laid his head? Where else has he worked? Who does he know in all of the jurisdictions in between?”
