As Gwinnett County Police are currently investigating Atlanta rapper T-Hood’s death as a possible self-defense shooting case, his mother is condemning the decision and calling for justice.

T-Hood’s Family Accuses Girlfriend Kelsie Frost Of Setting Him Up, Call Out Rasheeda, Kirk Frost, Ky Frost, And Kirk Frost Jr. After Rapper’s Murder
As we previously shared, T-Hood, born Tevin Hood, was shot and killed killed at 33 at his home in on Lee Road in unincorporated Snellville on Friday (August 8). WSB-TV first reported that Gwinnett County Police received reports about a dispute that led to gunfire at the home. Police arrived around 7 p.m. and found the “Perculator” rapper with gunshot wounds. They provided aid and rushed him to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Later that day, TMZ reported that the “READY 2 GO” rapper’s mother, Yulanda Bandy confirmed her son was the victim. She also confirmed her son lived at the home. However, she denied reports claiming a party took place at the time of the shooting.
Following T-Hood’s fatal shooting, his family accused his girlfriend, Kelsie Frost of foul play. Kelsie is the daughter of music executive and ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta’ star Kirk Frost. Her stepmother is rapper and fellow ‘LHHATL’ star Rasheeda.
T-Hood’s mother, two sisters, Maysia Bandy and Jayda Bandy, along with his daughter’s mother, Ebony Jai, have all alleged that Kelsie set the rapper up. The family alleges she called her brothers, Ky Frost and Kirk Frost Jr., following an alleged domestic violence dispute. The family further accuses Ky of being the shooter. Hours following T-Hood’s death, Maysia, Jayda, and Ebony posted footage from the scene and wrote several posts accusing the Frost family of foul play.
Kelsie Frost Denies Setting Up Or being Involved In Murder Of Atlanta Rapper Boyfriend T-Hood
In a post-and-delete, Kelsie Frost attempted to clear her name. She captioned the post, “Please please be so fr! I know I can’t beat the internet And rumors but playing on my name when it comes to my man I’m not goin. AT ALL!!!!!! I know this something to talk about for y’all but this is real life for me. No, I’m not okay!!!!”

T-Hood’s Family Demands Justice And Continue Calling Out His Girlfriend Kelsie Frost, Her Parents Rasheeda And Kirk Frost, And Her Brothers Ky Frost And Kirk Frost Jr.
On Monday (August 11), T-Hood’s two sisters, mother, and daughter’s mother continued to call out the Frost family while demanding justice from authorities. The four women posted alleged phone calls of Kelsie Frost telling them that police questioned and released her brother Ky Frost. The family also allege Kelsie admitted her brother T-Hood’s shooter.
The rapper’s family continued to call out Rasheeda and Kirk Frost, demanding they, allegedly, “stop hiding” their son and bring him to justice for his alleged actions. The family also accuses the family of using their celebrity and star power to sway the justice system.
Police Identify Rasheeda & Kirk Frost’s Son Ky Frost As Top Suspect In T-Hood Murder; T-Hood’s Mother Condemns Possible Self-Defense Investigation
On Tuesday (August 12), TMZ obtained an incident report claiming the Gwinnett County Police Department identified their top suspect as Ky Lasheed Frost. Hours before this, citing Gwinnett County Police, FOX 5 Atlanta reported that because the initial report of T-Hood’s murder stemmed from an alleged domestic disturbance involving a female at the rapper’s home, the case may be investigated as possible self-defense.
Citing police, FOX 5 Atlanta reports that a female was injured during an argument, that the shooter arrived at the rapper’s home, and that he tried to separate himself from the situation. The shooter remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators following the shooting. A witness to the shooting is also cooperating in the ongoing investigation.
Amid reports of police investigating T-Hood’s fatal shooting as self-defense, his mother condemned the decision. While taking to Facebook, she wrote:
“Good morning I’m still waiting on the detective to call. No answers but we know the truth. God please please help me. I can’t sleep or eat. My Son was murdered as he walked away. Who shoot someone in the back 5 times and kill them and you out on the street. What kind of world is this. Let’s go people Justice for T-Hood.
Call Gwinnett County police department and push for justice for T-Hood! We’re calling everyday all day until y’all arrest his killer!
No amount of money can replace my son! Stop playing with me! #JusticeForTHood #GwinnettPoliceDoYourJob”
She later updated:
“Listen up everyone, they are telling the police it is self-defense. He was walking away and got 5 shots in his back. People this is serious. We will not let this ride. I need everyone to post up. We will not be defeated. I know you’re watching telling me to keep fighting for you. I love you my celebrity. Justice for T-Hood.
God help me please, missing my son like crazy.”
