Police Chief Warns That Extremists ‘Want To Blow Up Capitol’ When President Biden Addresses Congress
The U.S. Capitol Police chief has revealed that security will be heightened as there have been threats by extremists to blow up the Capitol at President Joe Biden’s first official address to Congress.
“We know that members of the militia groups that were present on January 6th have stated their desires that they want to blow up the Capitol and kill as many members as possible with a direct nexus to the State of the Union, which we know that date has not been identified,”Chief Yogananda Pittman said. “So based on that information, we think that it’s prudent that Capitol Police maintain its enhanced and robust security posture until we address those vulnerabilities going forward.”

Pittman’s shocking news came after being asked whether there will be more security, as well as National Guard deployment and fencing around the building since the violent January 6 riots. The FBI has already arrested over 200 people in connection to the riot.
“We have no intention of keeping the National Guard or that fencing any longer than what is actually needed,” Pittman added. “We’re actively working with a scaled-down approach so that we can make sure that we address three primary variables.
“One is the known threat to the environment, two is the infrastructure vulnerabilities and then that third variable being the limitations the U.S. Capitol’s police knows that it has as it relates to human capital and technology resources.”
