A shocking video captured the moment a pickup truck went airborne and crashed into an Oregon home in the middle of the night, narrowly missing a family who was sleeping inside.

According to ABC30, the incident happened around 3 a.m. in Tigard while homeowner David Brudknock was asleep inside his residence. Authorities said the vehicle hit a dirt mound, launched into the air, cleared a retaining wall, and traveled nearly 100 feet before slamming into the home.

“I Thought I Was Dreaming,” Homeowner Says

Brudknock recalled being jolted awake by the impact, describing the moment as both confusing and terrifying.

“I heard a boom, and the house shook,” he explained. “And I’m like, ‘what’s going on?’ I must be in a sleep stupor or something. I can’t process what I’m seeing in front of me.” Moments later, he realized a truck had crashed directly into his home.

Inside the home at the time were Brudknock, his partner, and their three children. Despite the severity of the crash, all family members were unharmed.

The family was able to safely exit through the back of the house as emergency crews arrived on the scene.

Authorities confirmed that no one inside the residence suffered injuries.

Driver Arrested After Crash

Two people were inside the pickup truck when it crashed into the home. Both were transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Police later arrested the 33-year-old driver on charges of reckless driving.

Investigators are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the crash, including speed and possible impairment.
