Physical Altercation Between Quavo And Saweetie Caught On Video Before Big Breakup
Earlier this month, Saweetie confirmed that she broke up with Migos rapper Quavo. She explained on Twitter that she “endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character,” she wrote. “Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.”
She added, “I emotionally checked out a long time ago and have walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom. Excited for this new chapter of elevation.” According to this footage, they were clearly going through much more behind the scenes.
In a video obtained by the news site show a fight they had just before their big breakup. Surveillance video from their apartment complex in North Hollywood shows both of them standing outside an open elevator. Saweetie is seen swinging on Quavo but he manages to dodge the hit, dropping an orange Call of Duty case in the process, which Saweetie tries to pick up. He grabs it, and as they struggle for the case, he shoves her to the floor of the elevator. Saweetie lays on the ground — possibly injured. Eventually, the elevator opens with a guy standing out there but he doesn’t get on and the door shuts again. Saweetie later picks herself up and limps away.
This incident went down in 2020 at an apartment building where Saweetie was renting at the time. Clearly they were able to makeup after the incident but it looks they both just had enough.
