Photos Of Black Shooting Victims Discovered Hanging From Nooses In Milwaukee

As the world continues to fight for justice for Black Lives, some continue to display horrific acts of racial hatred.

KCRA reports that Milwaukee’s Original Black Panthers discovered six images of black individuals taken by gun violence hanging from nooses in Milwaukee’s Riverside Park. The images included Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Breonna Taylor, Botham Jean, Ahmaud Arbery and Michael Brown.

“Historically, African Americans have been hung and lynched,” activist King Rick said to KCRA. “I don’t care what anybody says, they can justify it all they want to. It was disrespectful not only to the memories of these individuals — our beloved individuals — but also to the African American community, so I’m not hearing it.”

The photos were laminated and had each victim’s cause of death written on them. The majority were killed by police with the exception of Trayvon.

Police said they did not receive any calls about the photos and they are not currently investigating, however, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department said it opened an investigation into the horrific incident.

If anyone has any information please contact the sheriff at 414-278-4788.

The images were removed Saturday evening.
