Phaedra Parks is making a comeback to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” as she announced her return to the Bravo show, following Kenya Moore’s departure.

The reality TV personality, who originally joined the cast of “RHOA” from seasons 3 to 9, shared the news of her comeback on Instagram on Monday. Phaedra shared a new post on Instagram, showcasing her holding the signature Georgia peach token of the show, dressed elegantly in front of a private plane. “You called. I answered 🍑#RHOA #S16”

This casting news coincides with another major change for the show, as longtime cast member Kenya Moore left season 16 prematurely following a controversy.

As we previously reported, Kenya was suspended indefinitely after reportedly sharing inappropriate photos of newcomer Brittany Eady engaging in a sexual act. Despite denying the allegations, Kenya decided not to continue filming for the rest of season 16.

Phaedra’s return to the show is an intriguing choice by the network, given her controversial exit from “RHOA” following a scandal of her own. If you remember, Phaedra was removed from the show after reportedly spreading a rumor that claimed her co-star Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, were plotting to drug and sexually assault Porsha Williams.

After the scandal, Phaedra has successfully improved her reputation by gaining popularity among viewers in various Bravo/Peacock shows such as “Married to Medicine,” “The Traitors,” and “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
