The company said in an announcement Thursday with BioTech that their booster shot will have extended protection against the variant since the neutralizing antibodies are several times faster than the first two doses are reported by The Daily Mail. Additionally, scientists are performing more clinical trials to create an update of the third dose so it can provide stronger protection against all variants of the coronavirus.
‘As seen in real world evidence released from the Israel Ministry of Health, vaccine efficacy has declined six months post-vaccination, at the same time that the Delta variant is becoming the dominate variant in the country,’`

‘These findings are consistent with an ongoing analysis from the companies. It was also reported that the Delta variant makes up more than 80 percent of new infections in midwestern states and makes up 51.7 percent of all new infections within the United States.
