Pepa Of Salt-N-Pepa Suing Uber Over Injuries & Lost Wages From 2018 Crash
Per documents obtained by TMZ, Sandra Denton, aka Salt of Salt-N-Pepa, is suing Uber for injuries and lost wages stemming from a 2018 crash that happened on Los Angeles’ 101 freeway.
Denton has filed a lawsuit against the rideshare service, along with one of its drivers and those of three other vehicles involved. The rapper claims that the chain-reaction accident caused injuries, pain and loss of wages that she’s still dealing with today.

The site details that in the documents, Pep claims the crash was triggered after the Uber driver and others “operated their vehicle[s] negligently and carelessly.” Following the crash, Pep complained of neck and knee pain, which prompted medical attention.
In addition to the pain and medical attention, the accident has pulled the Grammy winner out of work, causing loss of wages as the pain’s made it hard for her to travel and perform.

Regarding the 2018 crash, details say the rapper was in a friend’s car that was hit from behind by the Uber driver, who followed too closely behind and couldn’t hit the brakes in time. The driver hit Pep and her friend, which caused a chain reaction with the other drivers.
