A Pennsylvania woman has revamped her image after ending her 12-year marriage and says she’s compared to Megan Fox after debuting the new look.

Marissa Pool,29, says she met her husband when she was 17 and cited that her mental health was at “an all time low.” After marrying her ex, Pool felt she had to fit into a certain image in order to play the role as a wife and mother. During the marriage, the couple had two children together, aged two and six, but they decided to call it quits in January 2022. ‘When you get older you change into a different person and your values and beliefs change. I lost myself for a while like a lot of women do,’ she explained to the Daily Mail.
Pool added that the separation was mutual and decided to change her image by getting nine tattoos and five piercings. She’s also been compared to Megan Fox after dying her hair black and switching her “Karen” wardrobe to all black clothing.

‘People tell me I look like Megan Fox all the time and it’s honestly so flattering. I’m not sure I see it myself but I’ve always admired her and it’s very humbling!’
Pool wants her story to be an inspiration to other moms so they can feel free to express themselves without attempting to fit in the constraints of society.
‘I now spend half an hour every day getting ready and doing my make up. When you feel good about yourself, only then can you be the best version of yourself. I feel like a completely different person, I’m confident, I feel good and I feel like me.’
