Patrick Mahomes Becomes Youngest Owner In Sports With Stake In Kansas City Royals
24-year-old Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has just become the youngest owner in sports after taking a minority stake in the MLB’s Kansas City Royals team.
The Royals officially announced on Tuesday that the Chiefs quarterback has become a newest member of the ownership group. The move arrives after Mahomes, who grew up playing football and baseball, led his team to victory at Super Bowl LIV, spawning a new 10-year contract extension, valued at $503 million.
