Pastor Mike Todd of Transformation Church was in the middle preaching when he wiped spit onto the face of another parishioner to show that “receiving God’s vision can sometimes be nasty.” People in the crowd can be heard gasping after witnessing the interesting moment.
Of course, social media users are having a field day with this. One Twitter user said, The Mike Todd situation is exactly why we need more faithful Bible-teaching churches, not entertainers who seek to go viral every Sunday. I’m all for the practicality of sermons being explained, but when is enough enough?” Another added, “DURING A PANDEMIC MIKE TODD??? During a pandemic?! Gross any time but DURING A PANDEMIC!?” A third joked, “If your pastor is Jamal Bryant or Mike Todd call 1-800-810-8271, you may be eligible for compensation for being led straight to hell!!!”
So far, Pastor Mike has not spoken out on all the contovrsery surrounding his sermon.
