Parents Set Off 80lb Gender Reveal Bomb That Destroys Homes In Two States!

These gender reveals are getting out of hand!

Multiple neighborhoods in different southern New Hampshire towns felt a rumble on Tuesday caused by a family who used explosives to reveal the gender of their child.

Apparently, the family purchased 80 pounds of Tannerite for the announcement, per Manchester ABC affiliate WMUR.

“To have something like this occur outside normal business hours, and, of all of the blasts that we have experienced, nothing was as loud as we experienced on Tuesday night,” said resident Sarah Taglieri.

Many thought the explosion was an earthquake, with some residents experiencing structural damage.

“It comes with an oxidizer,” said Sgt. Jeff Dade, from the New Hampshire State Police Bomb Squad. “The fuel is in a separate packet, and you mix it, and once mixed, you would place it somewhere safely out in a range where you would then shoot it.”

The father is currently cooperating with police and no charges have been filed yet.

“For example, if you are doing it near private property where the explosion could damage property, start a fire, wildfire something of that nature, there are statutes that pertain to all of that,” he said. “If used improperly or irresponsibly, the consequences could be very serious.”
