After documenting their experience and sharing it on social media, the parents’ disciplinary tactics came under fire online. The couple reportedly demanded several times that their eight-year-old son finish his schoolwork and go to bed by 8:30 p.m. before they went on a date. They apparently made him stay up all night so he could watch any show he wanted, rather than penalizing him by taking away the TV. The youngster initially seems at ease in their security film, but a few hours later, he fights to keep focused.
