Paramedic Testifies George Floyd Had No Pulse As Derek Chauvin Continued To Kneel On Him

On the fourth day into the George Floyd murder trial, Seth Bravinder, the Minneapolis paramedic who was called to the scene of George Floyd’s deaths reveals that Floyd was in cardiac arrest and had no pulse as Officer Derek Chauvin was still kneeling on his neck.

“As we were pulling up to the scene, I saw multiple officers on the side of the road with our patient laying on the ground next to the squad car,” Bravinder said.

He said that there were multiple officers on top of Floyd when they arrived to the scene, “I assumed there was potentially some struggle still because they were still on top of him.” There was also nobody else attempting to give Floyd chest compressions.

Bravinder said that he asked his partner if Floyd was in cardiac arrest, and his partner replied, “I think so.” “That’s the term we’re going to use for anyone that’s not responsive, not breathing and doesn’t have a pulse currently.”
