Coronavirus infections are resolving just as fast as they are spreading. New data shows that 50,000 people around the globe have reportedly recovered back to good health from the virus since the first case was detected.
The NY Post reports that of the 94,000 total cases, more than 51,000 people have recovered, the vast majority of whom are in China, where the virus cane from.
In Iran, where there are 2,922 cases, the recovery rate is 552 people have recovered. The amount for the US is not clear yet.
National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed that those who are in good health without underlying conditions will survive,
“However, every once in a while you’re going to see a 25-year-old person, who looks otherwise well, that’s going to get seriously ill. But the vast majority of people who get into trouble do have these underlying conditions,” Fauci said.
