Latto has been teasing and promoting her new single, which sees her trying her hand at the Pop genre.

Since debuting the single, and a corresponding video featuring Lu Kala, on February 17, Latto’s song has been racking up the streams on DPS (Digital Streaming Platforms) and views on Youtube.

On Monday (February 27), Latto’s new single debuted on Billboard via the platform’s Hot 100 chart. It landed at No. 83 for the week ending on March 4.

Latto ending up sharing the big achievement on her Twitter, retweeting a post by the official account for Chart Data. She then followed the tweet, stating, “Keep streaming Lottery!” And another tweet with some celebratory emojis.

Latto’s collaborative partner, Lu Kala, also tweeted out and said, “This is my 1st time ever charting, I’m crying rn. Wow!” Latto retweeted the post.

Then came the critics. One person tweeted and deleted, “You’re 83# and you’re celebrating. Girl you’re really ridiculous. In your place I won’t do that and you dare to say you’re a flourishing rapper.”

Latto replied to the critic and said, “You’re not in my place and never will be bookie. Leave De-Lu-Lu Land! Bunch of could never tryna make me not proud. PLEASE. Lemme see you do it then sm*t! You sitting on your dreams. I’m living mine! Beat it!”

Another critic wrote, “Your first entry in a year.” Latto replied, “Your first — NVM [nevermind].”

Latto then shared a GIF of a young girl dancing with Hip Hop Harry — clearly signaling that she’s ready to take on another critic — “Who’s next?!” *Hip Hop Harry voice*
