Well dang! It looks like Kroy Biermann can’t catch a break. On top of all the divorce drama with his estranged wife Kim Zolciak, it looks like he has even more legal problems that he has to deal with.
According to TMZ, Biermann is being sued for allegedly missing lease payments on a Rolls-Royce. The news site obtained documents that reportedly state that the ex-NFL linebacker hasn’t paid diddly-squat in months to BMW Financial Services to lease the company’s 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
BMW claims Kroy was supposed to fork over $5,297.64 each month for 36 months, per the lease agreement, totaling $190,715.04. However, the docs note that he came up short sometimes but recently didn’t pay at all. They claim his very last payment was allegedly made in September… 2022. Execs over at BMW have been demanding Kroy return their $400,100 SUV. However, they claim he’s been silent and still have the vehicle.
BMW not only wants the car back in their possession but also the money they’ve lost out on, TMZ notes.
More On Their Divorce
The now-estranged couple tied the knot in 2011. They officially filed for divorce back in May after more than a decade of marriage. The news of their divorce came at the same time it was reported that they have an unpaid balance with the Department of Treasury totaling $1.1 million.
The retired NFL player filed new court documents, obtained by @pagesix, where he claims the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum has been “abusive” toward him. Kroy Biermann also alleged in court docs that their four kids need protection from Zolciak. However, the reality star clapped back at his “harmful … lies” in a statement to People.
“It’s really sad the way Kroy is causing our divorce to play out in the media like this because it could have a profound effect on our children in the long run,” the statement begins. “To continuously spread lies in an attempt to paint Kim as an unfit mother for his own gain is harmful and incredibly misleading regarding Kim’s efforts to raise her children.”
“Kim has remained quiet through the divorce process thus far for the sake of the children, but with this most recent filing, she has no choice but to speak up. The emotional and mental abuse Kim has suffered from this man for so many years has taken a toll on her and, most heartbreakingly, their children. Kim has always been an extremely devoted mother to her children; they are her entire world, and she is always there to love and support them every step of the way,” the statement continues.
“Kim looks forward to the day we can appear in court and solve these issues once and for all,” concludes the statement from Kim’s lawyer.
At this point, it looks like their divorce is only going to get nastier from here.
