#Socialites, get into this! A woman named Simone claims that she’s engaged to B2K singer Omarion and that she’s sent him $4,500 over the past few years. However, the “Touch” singer says it’s not him and warns Simone and other supporters to “be smart” in filtering out catfishes!

While appearing on a recent episode of ‘Dr. Phil,’ Simone shared her story and her friend, Rachel, also supported her and helped reveal some details.

Rachel says, “My friend Simone has been catfished for years by someone claiming to be Omarion. The Omarion that she thinks she’s talking to, he is not. He is a catfish.”

Rachel claims that Simone has told her that the person claiming to O has told Simone that he wants to marry her; however, the two have yet to meet in person.

The Omarion catfish has never made any attempts to meet Simone, nor made any arrangements for her to come and see him, despite them being “engaged.”

Meanwhile, Rachel adds, “He’s not Omarion. I know for a fact because there’s no celebrity that’s going to ask a civilian for money.”

According to Rachel, Simone has sent this Omarion imposter about $4,500 over the past few years. Rachel continues, “If he’s a superstar, why would he need her money? Only a scammer would do that, not a celebrity.”

Omarion also appeared on the episode, via a recorded video. Omarion shared a message to Simone and to other supporters of his, warning them to be careful when it comes to being catfished.

He also took to his official Instagram account and posted a preview of the episode in his Story. He captioned the post, “Be Smart.”

And continued to write, “So many people have stories saying they spoke with me online. I don’t take advantage of people. I respect and appreciate people who support me.”
