In a report by TMZ, the 911 call was made on Juneteenth in Shaker Heights and three police officers arrived at the scene. The officers began to take photos with the kids and played football with them instead of telling the children to go home. The video of this sweet moment was recorded by one of the kids’ mothers, Wendy Brown.

Brown said that one of the cops told her: “I don’t know who would do it, but someone called police on the kids, they said they were playing in the street so we came by.”

She added that she encouraged the kids to play outside like any other day before the officers arrived.

“We encourage them to go outside and just be kids, so they were just playing football out in the street like they do any other time.”
