Cardi B And Offset Relationship Timeline And ‘Unpeaceful’ Divorce

As previously shared, last weekend, Cardi B went off on X and X Spaces while seemingly responding to alleged posts shared by Offset. Before getting into the drama, let’s do a quick timeline refresh. Offset and Cardi tied the knot in September 2017 and went on to share three children: Kulture Kiari Cephus (July 2018), Wave Set Cephus (September 2021), and Blossom Belle Cephus (September 2024).

Before Blossom’s birth, Cardi confirmed she was single in December 2023. In August 2024, she announced her third pregnancy with Offset right after filing for divorce. In September 2024, she gave birth to Blossom and a month later, Cardi and New England Patriots star Stefon Diggs were first linked, despite initially denying dating rumors.

By September 2025, Cardi gave an update on her relationship with Offset amid their divorce. She told ‘The Breakfast Club,’ “It’s not peaceful at all. I can’t even talk about it because it’s a court thing, but it is not peaceful.” She also commented on his song “Move On.” In the song, he rapped, “You never listen to no rules / You never cook n***as no food / You just want go out to Nobu / Telling me sh*t that you don’t do.”

Cardi recalled laughing at the song when she first heard it. She added, “Why are you still bothering me? Now you got all these b*tches that cook, so why you can’t sign the papers?” Despite her sour marriage with Offset, she wasn’t letting it stop her from remarrying, especially as she was then-expecting a child with Diggs. She replied, “I will get married again, but not as quick as I got married the last time.”

Cardi B Seemingly Responds To Offset Allegedly Alluding To Her And Stefon Diggs’ Son Being His Due To Georgia Law

In November 2025, Cardi and Diggs welcomed their first child together, Cardi’s fourth. Before the baby’s birth, Offset appeared to make some comments. He allegedly tweeted, “Divorce ain’t even finali[z]ed and you popping out another man kid 🤣🤡 #YouInTimeout.”

As Cardi and Diggs prepared to welcome their baby, whose name hasn’t been revealed, Offset again allegedly tweeted and said, “Already got a name for my kid. Keep yo Spanish sh*t to yourself lol.” He also took to his Instagram Story and allegedly wrote, “My kid lol.”

Offset’s alleged comments hit after social users highlighted Georgia law which presumes the Migos alum is legally the father of Cardi and Diggs’ son since the two rappers remain legally married through the baby’s brith. However, Offset’s brother appeared to combat all of the drama online and allegedly commented under an Instagram post, “They didn’t get married in GA, why are y’all pushing this cap sh*t?”

While seemingly responding to Offset’s alleged posts, Cardi shared two of her own and said:

“Mf’ers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload… LEAVE ME TF ALONE.

Y’all be thinking it’s so funny and it’s not.. it’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger.. it’s all fun and games until it’s too late.”

Cardi continued to go off on X Spaces, alleging someone has an “unhealthy obsession” with her and is harassing her. She also alleged this person is dealing with “mental illness” and “substance abuse” issues.

Offset Reportedly Denies Posting ‘My Kid Lol’ In Response To Social Media Speculating About Cardi B And Stefon Diggs’ Son And Georgia Paternity Law

On Monday (November 17), reports broke claiming Offset denied ever posting “My kid lol” in response to social media speculating about Cardi B and Stefon Diggs’ son presumably being his son due to a Georgia paternity law. According to independent journalist Loren LoRosa and TMZ, Offset’s reps called cap on the now-viral alleged posts. The spokesperson said:

“Any statements attributed to Offset circulating on social media are completely fabricated. Cardi responded to misinformation, and the situation escalated unnecessarily. Offset has remained supportive of Cardi and genuinely wishes her nothing but the best.”

While Offset and his team deny the posts, there was no word on who they are blaming for allegedly faking the posts and making them go viral.
