Offset Blasts Jeweler Who Claims He Owes $400K In Jewelry

Offset is firing back at a celebrity jeweler who claims the rapper owes him $400,000 in jewelry.

Guven’s Fine Jewelry initially sued Offset for taking the jewelry and failing to pay for it. The rapper is now fighting to clear his name.

“Despite the claims of the opposing party, Mr. Cephus [Offset] did not breach a contract,” Offset’s lawyer Just Spizman said to Bossip. “There was no contract. We are hopeful the trial court will give us the opportunity to allow a jury to determine these outstanding issues.”

Offset denies taking half of the pieces that the jeweler claims is in his possession and even adds that he returned a piece that cost well over $100k.

Offset also revealed that he had purchased a car for the jeweler and they held the title as payment.

Offset is accusing the company of failing to serve him with the suit in the correct manner and adds that Guven’s sent their lawsuit to an Atlanta address that Offset no longer occupies, despite Guven’s being aware and sending him jewelry to his correct address.

Guven says claims that Offset owes him $359,490. A judge has yet to rule on the case.
