NYSNC, founded in 1995 in Orlando, FL, was comprised of Bass and Timberlake, along with JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick. The group ended up splitting in 2002 and Justin Timberlake went on to have a successful solo career, releasing several chart-topping albums. The other bandmates went on to have success in their own endeavors as well, including singing, acting, hosting, and more.

Amid all of the mounting legal troubles for Sean “Diddy” Combs — including his recent shocking federal arrest and grand jury indictment on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for purposes of prostitution — other celebrities continue to recall their previous encounters and interactions with the now-disgraced mogul.

One of those celebrities now includes NSYNC star Lance Bass who recently sat down with Andy Cohen on his show ‘Watch What Happens Live (WWHL).’ On the show, Bass said not only has he never attended a party hosted by Diddy, but he never really liked him. The Bad Boys Records founder was mentioned during a ‘WWHL‘ conversation as Bass guest-starred alongside reality TV star Angie Katsanevas on Wednesday (September 25).

During a segment of the show, host Andy Cohen recalled Diddy opening for NSYNC at their final concert. Cohen continued to ask Bass if he had ever attended one of Diddy’s infamous parties. Despite Diddy being criminally charged for activities during his alleged private sex parties, aka “freak offs,” the entertainment mogul was better known for hosting elaborate industry bashes for decades.

These alleged freak off sex parties are now at the center of controversy for allegedly involving heavily sedated sex workers and trafficking victims. In court documents, these alleged sex sessions are described as “elaborate and produced sex performances” that allegedly lasted for hours and days and subsequently required victims to use IV fluids to recover.

As Diddy currently sits in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn until his trial begins, several celebrities continue to speak on his mounting legal troubles and reflect on their past encounters with him. Lance Bass now reveals that he has never been a part of any event hosted by Diddy. He also claims that he has never liked the mogul, especially after learning how he wanted his group dismembered.

Lance Bass claims to have overheard Diddy telling his fellow NSYNC bandmate Justin Timberlake to “go solo.” He said, “I never had time to go to a Diddy party. I forgot that he opened up on our last tour until all of this came about. But, yeah, it’s kind of horrible.”

Bass continues to admit, “But, I never kinda liked him because, at the very last show in Orlando, I overheard him talking to Justin [Timberlake] and being like, ‘You need to drop these… effers! You need to go solo!’ And I was like, ‘I don’t like you anymore, Diddy.’ I’m like, ‘At my own show? What the hell?'”
