Eagle-eyed social media users noticed that Kim Kardashian and North West‘s TikTok page “KimandNorth” had disappeared on Thursday, with the page saying the account had been “banned,” prompting many to wonder what rules they may have violated to get their handle pulled.
Well, according to family sources who spoke to TMZ, it was the 9-year-old who reportedly decided to step away from the app in order to focus her “creativity in other areas.”

Per the aforementioned publication, West’s TikTok page was not banned, nor did she break any policy. As one source put it, “She is taking a break from TikTok. Like most kids, interests change often, so she may be back on as early as tomorrow — or never again.” The insider wasn’t wrong either because, at the time of writing, the “KimandNorth” TikTok account had been reinstated with all of its viral videos, including her most recent post which was posted on Monday.
In her last video, West documented her family trip to Japan, and with her page being restored, it would seem as if the social media star isn’t saying goodbye to TikTok after all, although it remains unclear whether she actually plans on posting again.
West has become one of the most followed child stars on the app, having amassed a colossal 15.5 million fans, which is partly thanks to her mom, who makes an appearance every so often in the most adorable mommy-daughter videos.
