Diddy’s family members are doing their best to maintain their composure amid his ongoing legal troubles. In addition to dealing with the business mogul’s incarceration on sexual assault and racketeering charges, they are also dealing with the late Kim Porter being dragged into all the mess.
Now, Diddy’s sons are taking decisive action to address the situation. Christian Combs and Quincy have dispatched a cease and desist letter to a man named Courtney Burgess and his attorney, Ariel Mitchell, regarding the controversial book titled “Kim Porter Tell It All (‘Tell It All’),” TMZ reports. As previously reported, this book has been released and is still being sold online under the pseudonym Jamal Millwood.
Burgess has claimed that the book is based on an “original unedited” copy of Kim Porter’s alleged diary or memoir that she was supposedly working on prior to her death. He further alleges that he obtained a flash drive from individuals close to Kim. However, Quincy and Christian have firmly denied that Burgess possesses any flash drive belonging to Kim. However, they assert that if such a drive exists, it rightfully belongs to them as her heirs.

The sons are not wasting any time in their pursuit. They have given Burgess a mere five days to retract the contents of the book and have demanded that he cease making false claims about their mother during interviews, the news site notes. Additionally, they are requesting that he return any items he claims belonged to Kim and that he disclose any profits he has already generated from the book.
Should Mr. Burgess fail to comply, he could potentially face a lawsuit.
Christian, 26, and Quincy, 33, are the only sons of Kim Porter, who also shared twins Jesse and D’Lila Combs, 17, with Diddy. In October, the children released a joint statement concerning the fraudulent book, stating,
“The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” they shared in a joint Instagram statement on Tuesday, October 22. “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way.” The statement concluded with, “We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
Earlier this month, the girls also paid tribute to their late mother on the sixth anniversary of her passing. “We can’t believe it’s been 6 years without you,” the caption began. “We think about you every single second of the day. We love and miss you so much words can’t even explain. We wish you were here with us, but we know your spirit will be around forever!! We Love you Mommy❤️❤️”
Kim Porter died on November 15, 2018, in Toluca Lake, California of lobar pneumonia. She was just 47 years old.
