No Bond For Ahmaud Arbery Murder Suspects After Facing Judge For First Time
After facing a judge for the first time since being arrested for murder and aggravated assault yesterday (May 7), the murder suspects in the Ahmaud Arbery case will receive no bond.
Via video conference this morning in Glynn County, Georgia, father and son, Gregory McMichael, 64, and Travis McMichael, 34, faced a judge for their first time. After they were read their rights, with charges recalled, a Superior Court judge later returned confirming neither suspect will be given bond due to the severity of said charges.

Meanwhile, outside of the courthouse crowds gathered to sing happy birthday to Ahmaud, who would have been 26 years old today. To recall, Ahmaud was killed in February and his suspects went without an arrest for two months, and only after the surfacing of the “smoking gun” video, were they finally captured and charged.
