The gunman was identified as Robert Lee Heard Jr., who was reportedly sent to a juvenile corrections facility in 2022.

Nash also recalled her brother’s passing back in May 2022, in the wake of the Uvalde, Texas grade school shooting.
The incident at the Robb Elementary School on May 24, was listed as the deadliest school shooting in Texas history. There were 21 victims — 19 students and two teachers who were gunned down by Salvador Ramos.
At the time, Nash took to her Instagram Story and said, “I’m so sad … my brother was killed on his high school campus. It hits different [cause] school is a place you should feel safe. I don’t wish it on anyone.”
