As the 30th anniversary of Nicole Brown Simpson’s death approaches her sisters are now speaking out for the first time about O.J Simpson’s death.
Nicole’s sisters, Denise Brown, Dominque Brown, and Tanya Brown all shared their reactions to the death of O.J. Simpson. In the docuseries “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson,” airing on June 1 and 2, Nicole’s sisters provide additional details about the alleged abuse she reportedly experienced at the hands of O.J. Simpson, who passed away at the age of 76 in April from prostate cancer. Nicole’s family members remembered her living in constant fear of him, with some even claiming that she kept track of the instances when he harmed her, according to a new article published by @people on Wednesday.
“She always thought he was going to hurt her,” one of her sisters said in the clip. “She always knew it.” The upcoming project aims to recount Nicole’s story, a narrative that her family feels was overshadowed during O.J. Simpson’s notorious trial. “Her life was stolen from her and while her abuser is finally gone, it doesn’t take away the anguish we feel or the pain of her children who lost their mother,” the Brown sisters shared with The Hollywood Reporter on May 2. “We hope that by sharing Nicole’s story, it will help others recognize the signs and get the help they need and her legacy will continue to live on.”
Simpson reportedly died while being wrapped up in some major debt issues. According to multiple outlets Simpson owed Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson more than $100 million before his death.
As we all know, Simpson was acquitted for the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in a highly publicized criminal trial in 1995. However, despite being found not guilty in criminal court, Simpson was later found liable for the deaths of Brown and Goldman in a civil suit brought by the victims’ families.

The civil suit, which was filed in 1996, sought damages for the wrongful deaths of Brown and Goldman. The families of the victims alleged that Simpson was responsible for their deaths and should be held financially accountable. The trial was a highly publicized affair, just like the criminal trial, and was closely followed by the media and the public.
