The woman who claims Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty sexually assaulted her, is alleging that the couple has been harassing her for months and have even offered to pay her hundreds of thousands of dollars to recant her claims.
The alleged victim made the shocking revelations to the Daily Beast, addressing herself as Jennifer.
The alleged incident happened when they were both 16 years old in 1994. Petty was convicted of attempted rape a year after the allegations.
Jennifer claims Minaj was also in contact and told her she’d heard that Jennifer was willing to help them out—“and if there’s anything you need…” She even offered to her out to Los Angeles.
Jennifer said the harassment initially began last March, she has had to move multiple times due to this. She even contacted U.S. Marshals, who revealed that an investigation of the couple is underway and that it’s a “high-priority case.”
“I’m hoping for the truth to come out, and whatever comes from that truth, to let it be,” Jennifer said. For a while, she’d tried to avoid implicating other people. But now, “after everything that has happened, it’s like, these people were willing to sacrifice me so this guy could remain in the public eye. I feel like my family was willing to sacrifice me.”
Petty is currently registered as a sex offender in California.
