The viral petition to “Deport Nicki Minaj to Trinidad” has surpassed 80,000 signatures as a second petition nears another 40,000 more John Hancocks. Both deportation petitions have gone viral after Minaj’s shocking interview with Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk.
First Nicki Minaj Deportation Petition Surpasses 80,000 Signatures After Rapper Praised Donald Trump In U.N. Speech And Erika Kirk Interview
A week ago, we reported that the first petition, initially created on July 9, 2025, gained serious traction and momentum after Nicki Minaj, born Onika Maraj, praised President Donald Trump in November.
Minaj publicly thanked President Trump and then defended her actions as he threatened Nigeria’s government officials amid reports alleging the persecution of Christians. Minaj’s allegiance quickly earned her an invitation from the United Nations. She again thanked President Trump for his ‘leadership’ during her UN speech.
About a month later, Minaj spoke with TPUSA’s Erika Kirk at their AmericaFest event in Phoenix, Arizona in December. Kirk, the widow of former Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk, invited Minaj on stage, where they both endlessly praised President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and double down on their allegiance.
At the time of last reporting, the petition had surpassed 25,000 signatures following Minaj’s Kirk interview. The petition has now reached 81,020 signatures and continues to go viral. The campaign organizer, listed as “Pedonika Minaj,” has also tagged the White House, ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement), the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), and U.S. Military on the campaign page.
Under “The Issue” section on the petition page, the organizer shared photos of Minaj and mugshots of her husband, Kenneth Petty, a registered convicted sex offender.
Second Petition To ‘Deport Nicki Minaj Back To Trinidad’ Launches And Nears 40,000 Signatures
Since then, another petition to “Deport Nicki Minaj Back to Trinidad” has launched and gone viral. The second petition, created on December 27, 2025, is now nearing 40,000 signatures, with 38,597 as of Thursday evening (January 1). The immigrant rapper remains quiet as social media reacts to the mounting signatures, and now multiple petitions to remove her from the United States.
The second campaign was started by “Tristan Hamilton,” a self-described, “16-year-old who stands up for what he believes.” Hamilton listed “The Decision Makers” as President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. As for “The Issue” of the second petition, the organizer wrote:
“Nicki Minaj’s actions and words have taken a turn that has left many of her supporters and those who once found solace in her music feeling deeply betrayed. Once a voice for the LGBTQ+ community, she has now flipped her stance, asserting outdated and harmful notions such as “boys should just be boys.” These statements aren’t just insensitive; they undermine the very foundations of a community that looked up to her for advocacy and understanding.
This is personal for those of us who watched Nicki rise as a beacon of hope, only to feel abandoned by her shift in values. Her public platform carries weight and responsibility, and her recent statements are a stark contrast to the solidarity she once showed, leaving many feeling deflated and disillusioned. Furthermore, Nicki’s status in the United States is not based on citizenship, which raises questions about her continued presence here despite her divisive actions and statements.
Deporting Nicki Minaj back to Trinidad would serve as a reminder that public figures need to be accountable for their words and the broader impact they have on diverse communities. It’s not just about one person’s fall from grace; it’s about holding everyone to a standard of compassion and consistency, especially when they possess significant influence.
Sign this petition to urge immigration authorities to review Nicki Minaj’s residency status in the United States and consider deporting her back to Trinidad as a response to her harmful rhetoric. Let’s stand together to advocate for a community that is inclusive and respectful, leaving no room for abandonment based on outdated ideologies. Every signature counts in making our voices heard and fostering a sphere where public figures can be evaluated on the principles they claim to uphold.”
