Welp, Nicki Minaj is back in full troll mode, and this time California Governor Gavin Newsom is her latest target. While praising Vice President JD Vance, Nicki managed to throw some heavy shade at Newsom and doesn’t seem anywhere near done with him.
The trolling kicked off Wednesday after Nicki praised Vance, who jumped in with a petty response of his own, writing, “Nicki>Cardi.” On Thursday, she fired wrote, “The Vance > The Gav Nots,” a not-so-subtle dig at California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
By Friday, Nicki fully put her foot on the gas and went on a rant aimed directly at Gavin. Her first post on X read:
“Imagine being the guy running on wanting to see trans kids. Haha. Not even a trans ADULT would run on that. Normal adults wake up & think they want to see HEALTHY, SAFE, HAPPY kids. Not Gav, The Gav Nots, GavOUT. Send in the next guy, I’m bored.”
She followed up with another post, writing:
“Oh Gavvy pooh, it only gets worse from here for you, buddy. It’s the end of the road for you, my love. Get on the nearest jet ski & let that beautiful hair blow in the wind. It will make you happier than this race that you will not win. Enjoy life. Peace.”
Still not done, Nicki continued her trolling by adding, “Gavel, Gavel, Gavel.”
Nicki has been on a roll lately showing support for Trump and members of his administration. Meanwhile, Gavin Newsom has yet to respond to the vocal rapper.
Gavin is usually quick with his clapbacks, so his silence is raising eyebrows. Will he respond to Nicki, or is he saving his energy for other political figures? Either way, the internet is watching.
