Nick Cannon Mentions Thoughts Of Suicide In Message To Friend ‘Who Had The Balls’ To Kill Himself
Socialites, let’s take this time to send prayers to Nick Cannon. As many of us know, it’s been a very rough week for him after being fired from Viacom following backlash over his “anti-Semitic” comments he recently made on a podcast. Although he has apologized and said he’s in the process of educating himself, he’s still being called out from all sides.

On Friday, Cannon shared a cryptic tweet that read: “I hurt an entire community and it pained me to my core, I thought it couldn’t get any worse. Then I watched my own community turn on me and call me a sell-out for apologizing. Goodnight. Enjoy Earth.” He posted another shortly after that read: “Y’all can have this planet. I’m out!”
This Sunday, the 39-year-old shared another alarming and heartbreaking post after receiving news that his good friend — San Diego rapper Ryan Bowers has died after reportedly committing suicide. While paying tribute to Bowers on social media, Nick Cannon seemed to have contemplated suicide. In his post, he called 2020 the most “f***ed up year I’ve ever witnessed,” and said he was in “dark contemplation of continuing my physical existence on this planet,” while admiring his friend who “had the balls to do it.”

While fans have been sending Nick Cannon encouraging words along with prayers, tributes have have also been pouring in for Bowers. Singer Kehlani tweeted, “i love you!! i’m so sorry!! our convo is finna haunt me for the rest of my life!! i begged u bro! im speechless!i’m angry and i know you’re at peace but this shit ain’t ever gon make any sense to me!! rest in LOVE Ryan, I LOVE YOU!! 4L.” Fans have also shared messages to the beloved rapper.
