Nick Cannon Fires Back At Claim He ‘Fumbled’ Mariah Carey: ‘Did I? Maybe She Fumbled Me!’

During the latest episode of his ‘Daily Cannon Show,‘ 42-year-old Nick Cannon is pushing back on claims that he 1) “fumbled” his 54-year-old ex-wife, and 2) was to blame for the ending of his marriage to superstar Mariah Carey.

As a reminder, the two started dating in 2008 and got married later that year. Then in 2011, they welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe, and in 2014 they separated, with Carey filing for divorce months later. In 2016, their divorce was finalized and they both share custody of their now-11-year-old twins.

While hosting the latest episode of his new daily show, Cannon and his co-hosts, Courtney Bee Bledsoe and Mason Moussette, discussed a series of hot topics.

One of those topics happened to lead to Cannon bringing up Nia Long and her ex-fiancé Ime Udoka. Udoka, a former head coach for the Boston Celtics, was recently caught up in headlines — and dragged his ex-fiancée and mother of his son into them — when he was busted for having an affair with a Boston Celtics female staffer.

The cheating scandal led to Udoka being suspended from several games and eventually let go. Nia Long also ended up leaving his side and moving into her own new place without him. A few days ago, Udoka made headlines again after it was reported that months after his cheating scandal he is looking to rejoin the NBA as a coach with the Houston Rockets.

While mentioning Udoka and Long, a clip that has gone viral from Cannon’s latest podcast episode saw him stating, “When you fumble somebody like Nia Long, you gotta get these jokes.” Swiftly interjecting, Cannon’s co-host Courtney Bee Bledsoe threw out, “I mean, you fumbled Mariah [Carey].”

Cannon fired back, “Did I?” Bledsoe and the Mason Moussette both reacted in unison, “Oooooooohhhh.” Moussette said, “Oh, those are fighting words. Those are fighting words. Wowww. Dang, Courtney. Day two.”

Cannon asked, “Explain to me how I fumbled Mariah.” Bledsoe quickly backpedaled, “I’m playing. I don’t know. I just know you’re not with her. So, it’s a fumble.” Cannon continued to defend himself and fired back, “Maybe she fumbled me!”

Bledsoe continued to pry and asked Cannon about his marriage to Mariah. She questioned, “Did Mariah come home and like tell you about her days and stuff?”

Cannon affirmed, “I was there.” Bledsoe added, “That’s fair. But, you didn’t make ‘Always Be My Baby.’ So, you know what I’m saying? It’s a little different.” Cannon, admitted, “Facts. I’ll take that.”
