NFL Launches Investigation After 9 Women Accuse Houston Texan Deshaun Watson Of Sexual Assault
The NFL has launched an investigation after 9 women have come forward to accuse Houston Texan quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault. The NFL looks to interview the victims. Additionally, Tony Buzbee, of the Buzbee Law Firm, says he and at least 9 women are building a sexual misconduct case against the NFL superstar.
Buzbee says, “The Buzbee Law Firm has now been hired by nine women to bring cases against Deshaun Watson. The allegations are similar. We have filed three [sexual misconduct] lawsuits, and, as we complete our due diligence, will file the remaining ones in due course.” It’s stated that the first three women were massage therapists. The third one said Watson hit her on Instagram to set up a session on December 28, 2020 in a Houston office building.
During their encounter, the woman, identified as Jane Doe, claims the baller forced her to perform oral sex and she was so terrified, she defecated on herself. She claims after, Watson dressed himself and acted as if nothing happened. He’s since spoken out, claiming, “I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect.” He says the victims claim their allegations aren’t about the money, but that their lawyer made a “baseless six-figure settlement demand,” which he rejected.
