Another video has hit the internet and now people are scratching their heads about these latest rape allegations made against MMA fighter Conor McGregor.
Footage obtained by TMZ, shows his alleged rape accuser hanging out with the star around 12:40 a.m. on June 10 inside the Kaseya Center in Miami. This happened about half an hour or so after the woman claimed he attacked her inside of a bathroom following Game 4 of the NBA Finals. In the new clip, McGregor and the woman exchange words before Conor eventually leaves the area.
McGregor’s attorney, says the footage shows exactly what he’s been claiming all along, that her allegations are false. “While the claimant’s story has changed yet again,” Barbara R. Llanes said in a statement to TMZ. “Our account of the evening has never changed. This video only reinforces our position. We look forward to the swift conclusion of the investigation.”
Meanwhile, her attorney, Ariel Mitchell says the video shows her client and McGregor were “visibly awkwardly interacting with each other.”
“My client has always stated that there would be video of before and after, and in those videos she emphasized that the difference in the interactions between them would be visibly noticeable,” Mitchell said in a statement to TMZ Sports. “This again is another video that supports what my client has been saying and supports what she told the police since the inception of this incident.”
More On The Alleged Victim’s Claims
As we previously reported, The alleged incident happened around midnight on June 10 just after the Nuggets had beaten the Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on June 9. The woman claimed that NBA and the Heat security team physically forced” the accuser into the restroom, where McGregor proceeded to rape her.
However, a new video obtained by @tmz_tv shows the moment McGregor leaves a restroom area to speak with a woman in a white shirt. Conor grabs the woman by her hand and makes a path for her to go inside the bathroom with him. She and her friend follow behind and the restroom door shuts, without anyone else appearing to go inside.
Conor McGregor’s attorney, Barbara R. Llanes, Gelber Schachter & Greenberg, P.A., told TMZ, “After the video was released by TMZ, the claimant’s lawyer now has changed her story. Mr. McGregor welcomes the investigation, which he firmly believes will show the claims against him are false. After not responding to the demand for money made by claimant’s counsel, she turned to the media to apply pressure. This is no more than a shakedown.”
