According to a new report from The Breakfast Club‘s Loren LoRosa, superstar singers Beyoncé and Brandy do not rock with one another; and Brandy is also ‘no longer as close’ with Bey’s Destiny’s Child bandmate and sister from another mister, Kelly Rowland.
Ray J Goes Nuclear On Beyoncé And JAY-Z, Alleges They Failed To Meet With And Speak To Brandy During ‘The Boy Is Mine’ Tour Stop
As we previously shared, Brandy’s brother Ray J recently called out Bey and her husband JAY-Z for attending Brandy and Monica’s ’The Boy Is Mine’ tour and supporting opening act Kelly Rowland, but allegedly failing to meet with and take pictures with Brandy.
Ray J went nuclear on the power couple. In his video posted to Instagram Ray slammed The Carters and said, “N****a need to pull up when they pull up to the show. Come on, say ‘what’s up’ to Brandy. JAY-Z and Beyonce, for y’all to come to every show and not speak to B. I don’t like that. Y’all walk by Brand’s room and never say what’s up.”
Ray continued to emphasize that his sister didn’t put him up to the video, much less know that he was making it. He also admitted that he’ll likely get in trouble and make her mad over it. He captioned the post:
“This is coming from the heart!! And I love my family. And I love JAY and Bey!! Brandy and the family did not co-sign this! She’s super focused on making every show great! I will prob get in trouble for this!! – but I love JAY-Z and Bey!!”
Meanwhile, as Ray’s comments were going viral, other remarks shared by Brandy’s Instagram account began surfacing. The comments appeared under a Beyoncé fan page. One read, “That’s my outfit you down here in.” The other read, “I dare you to come down here again and take a picture with me it will go viral!!!”
Eventually, Brandy’s management team shared a statement to her Instagram Story, denying her creating the comments and claiming her page was hacked. The team stated:
“The @brandy Instagram account was previously compromised, as of early morning Tuesday, December 2nd. At this time, all access has now been fully restored. Brandy looks forward to seeing everyone this weekend at #TheBoylsMineTour! – Management”

After Brandy set the record straight, journalist Loren LoRosa now reports that “sources close to the tour and people that would know” told her they saw the reports online and alleged videos of Brandy and Beyoncé walking past each other backstage.
The sources alleged the two powerhouses are not cool with one another. As for the reason why, LoRosa’s sources claimed the two were once cool, but as Bey rose to fame, their relationship “got rocky” and it hasn’t recovered. Sources also claimed Brandy and Kelly have a strained relationship as well.
LoRosa later clarified under Hollywood Unlocked’s post, “Brandy and Kelly aren’t falling apart… I was told they just used to be super close. It’s not that anymore, but they’re good. They’re just not as close as they once were. Just wanted to clarify that.”
