New Details Surface Two Years After PnB Rock’s Passing

Two years after the tragic passing of PnB Rock, investigators are now releasing shocking details about the incident that took place at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles. 

As we previously reported, A father who sent his 17-year-old son to kill rapper PnB Rock has been sentenced to 31 years to life in prison. PnB, whose real name was Rakim Hasheem Allen, was shot and killed by a masked gunman while dining with his girlfriend in a Los Angeles restaurant.

Freddie Trone, 42, claimed he didn’t tell his son to commit the murder in September 2022. His defense argued that he was only involved after the crime took place, according to The Associated Press. However, in August, he was found guilty of murder, two counts of second-degree robbery, and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery.

A second defendant, Tremont Jones, was found guilty of two counts of second-degree robbery and one count of conspiracy to commit robbery. He has been sentenced to 12 years in prison.

In new details with CBS News Philadelphia, an investigator confirmed that there’s video footage of the full incident and she stated that the rapper was set up as soon as he walked through the door.

The news outlet reported, that a man shook the rapper’s hand as he walked in the restaurant and then made a phone call, assuming the call was made to the two men who came in the restaurant to shoot and kill him. 

Investigators also confirmed his partner, Stephanie Sibounheuang, was not responsible for his death. If you remember, she took a photo and posted their location on Instagram, but according to authorities the set was already taking place before she made that post online.
