A new book claims former First Lady Melania Trump was “pissed” when her husband and former POTUS Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels‘ sex scandal surfaced. She reportedly was so upset she wanted to “humiliate” him and didn’t care if he ended up going to prison for the alleged hush money deal.
A former White House press secretary, Stephanie Grisham, told Katie Rogers, for her book ‘American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,’ that the former First Lady intentionally backed out of an overseas trip amid the sex scandal controversy. Grisham claimed the move was done to spite Trump and to embarrass him.
Speaking of Melania, who was traveling with Trump at the time, Grisham stated, “I think she was pissed at Trump and wanted him to be a little humiliated that she took off.” Rogers also stated that the 47-year-old communications director allegedly told her, “The First Lady had wanted to communicate her anger to the president.”
As we previously shared, Daniels, a 44-year-old former adult star, accused Donald Trump, 77, of paying her $130,000 in hush money in October 2016, just before the 2016 U.S. Presidential election. She claimed Trump wanted to silence her about their alleged extramarital affair.
According to Daniels, she and Trump hooked up while he was married to Melania, 53. She said Trump cheated on her a year after the real estate mogul tied the knot with the Slovenian model, and as she was expecting their first child together, Barron.
Stormy Daniels claimed that Michael Cohen, an attorney for the Trump Organization, allegedly set up the payment arrangement. Since her allegations, Donald Trump has vehemently denied them all and wrote them off as an “extortion plot.” He was still criminally charged for the alleged hush money deal, while Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to violating federal campaign laws. The 57-year-old was subsequently sentenced to three years in federal prison.
Trump’s New York hush money trial is set to begin on March 25, with jury selection. Prosecutors in the case have already petitioned for a gag order to prevent Trump from attacking known or likely witnesses, court staff, the DA’s staff and their families, and any potential members of the jury.
Before Donald Trump’s sex scandal/hush-money trial, things had continued to heat up in 2020 when Melania’s former friend and close advisor, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, 53, leaked an audio of Melania trashing Daniels. In the recording, the former First Lady said, “[Photographer] Annie Leibovitz shot the porn hooker, and she [Daniels] will be [in] one of the issues, September or October.”
Wolkoff asked, “What do you mean, she shot the ‘p*rn hooker?’,” to which Melania replied, “Stormy.”
