Hollywood unlocked spoke with some big stars at the Netflix premiere of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery which stars Daniel Craig, Madelyn Cline, Janelle Monae and more!
While on the carpet we spoke with Janelle Monae and she talked about her not feeling any pressure of being a new cast member of a sequel. “The way Ryan writes his film it’s like each one is it’s own thing. You can watch this film and not have watched the Knives out so that’s the beauty of it. It’s a new cast it’s a new story.” She said.
She also explained the role she plays in the film and what fans can expect from her. “I’m just thankful that Ryan trusted me with this role, Andy I play a tech entrepreneur. More comedy than I have ever done. I had an opportunity to show more of my range and also to gain friends with this cast like come on, these are like A-list actors and their even better human beings.”
In the film Daniel Craig plays, detective Benoit Blanc when Tech billionaire Miles Bron invites his friends for a getaway on his private Greek island and someone turns up dead, then Daniel Craig’s character is put on the case.
